Clear advice.

Kind people.

Commercial insurance from brokers who treats your business like it’s her own.

How that actually shows up

The Kindred Pillars

Clarity over simplicity

We won't pretend insurance is simple — just clear.

The advisor,
not the seller

Sometimes the right advice is inconvenient — even if it costs a sale. That's what having an advisor is for, not a seller.

The detail is the point

Sums insured, exclusions, the fine print — read properly, every time.

Kindred Care

Insurance that looks after you the way you'd look after your own. Not a slogan — a standard we hold to, always.

Meet your broker

I'm Tracy Eddy, Principal Broker and Director at Kindred. I started this business because I was tired of watching good businesses get let down by insurance that only showed up when something was being sold.

I know what it's like to be counted out before anyone's really looked at what you're building.

My job is to understand your business well enough to tell you the truth about what it needs — even when that's not the easiest answer. That's not a service promise. It's how I'd want to be treated myself.

In-person and remote options

Prefer to meet face to face? Our office is conveniently located in Christchurch. Not local, or just easier to skip the trip across town? We're just as happy to jump on a call, meet over video, or come to you directly — whatever actually fits around your business.

“"For years insurance just happened to us at renewal — sign, pay, hope nothing went wrong. Kindred was the first time someone explained what we were actually covered for, and where the gaps were. It didn't feel like a sale. It felt like someone was on our side."

— MICHAELA G., KINRED CLIENT
